Yes, those are the proud new words of our precious Carter.
He already has quite a lengthy vocabulary that I won't go into, but the latest he picked up on his own to the delight of his parents.
A few weeks ago, Carter was playing in the living room when he looked at me and said, "Poop!". I looked at Eric to see if I had heard right. To my recollection there was a scent that followed the proclamation which then set off cheers of, "Good boy, Carter" and " Yea Poop!" as we rushed him into the bedroom to change the masterpeice.
(Sp)oon and (F)ork arrived a little earlier than Poop and have now been joined with (S)uop, wap (grape), this, sit and a bunch of new stuff we haven't figured out yet. Phonics traing begins next week..seriously!
Poop is now also used for attention getting purposes and since the majority of Carter's responses are 'NO!' we have to wait for the scent to follow the proclaimation before we actually know if he did the deed. The cool thing is it means he will soon be ready for P-O-T-T-Y T-R-A-I-N-I-N-G...Woo hoo
